CEPE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tales Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tempera SC's Ronaldão Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ronaldão Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zé Paulo Vander sped through CEPE F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdemar Souza. Ronaldão Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Linares in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Tempera SC's goalkeeper Décio das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Corrêa. After 26 minutes, Willian Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tempera SC and the CEPE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Willian Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fábio Fonseca during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, CEPE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. CEPE F.C.'s Valdemar Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Vander in the 30th minute of play. Ronaldão Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Souza having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, CEPE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Linares came free, but Valdemar Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldão Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Souza having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Paulo Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Zé Paulo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tempera SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zé Paulo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Ricardinho Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CEPE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Fonseca in the 69th minute of play forced Tempera SC's goalkeeper Décio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Hortêncio Fantini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Décio das Neves skillfully saved the ball. Ronaldão Linares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Souza having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, CEPE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Vander came free, but Valdemar Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardinho Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tempera SC booed when CEPE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Tempera SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CEPE F.C..
