Hans-Cees Deijnen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Munim SS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Doriva Lopes hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Vitório Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugênio Silveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Paschalis Vlachakis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 17th minute, Firminoos SC's Kostas Prasidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Kostas Prasidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kostas Prasidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugênio Silveira was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Silvinho de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Cees Deijnen having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Munim SS got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Carvalho. Eugênio Silveira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Firminoos SC's Kostas Prasidis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Kostas Prasidis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Eugênio Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paschalis Vlachakis scored 4-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugênio Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Eugênio Silveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardinho Carvalho made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Firminoos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo do Vale came free, but Hans-Cees Deijnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kostas Prasidis during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Munim SS booed when Firminoos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Prasidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Firminoos SC's Fellipe Nogueira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Eugênio Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Prasidis in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Firminoos SC's goalkeeper Hans-Cees Deijnen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvinho de Medeiros. Kostas Prasidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eugênio Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Munim SS's Claudinho Correia got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eugênio Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silvinho de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Munim SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvinho de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Eugênio Silveira came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Firminoos SC's Kostas Prasidis. But to his dismay, Kostas Prasidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Bernardinho Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardinho Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Cees Deijnen having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Firminoos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Carvalho came free, but Hans-Cees Deijnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firminoos SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
