It was a penalty for Fênix FC! Angelo Nascimento placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Prata got free with Durvalino Tepedino in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Figueiredo made a kick off.
