José Pedro Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Carmesia SC's Léo Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Pedro Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vivaldo Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Peres in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Ermida SC's Anísio Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vivaldo Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 43 minutes, Délio Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ermida SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Medeiros during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carmesia SC's Vivaldo Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Carmesia SC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ermida SC booed when Carmesia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
