In the 33rd match minute, Dominguinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Gerber to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernani Quirino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Manuel Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luís Motta fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dominguinho's protests and gave Luís Motta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dominguinho getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luís Motta hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Leandro Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonde do El EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes Dominguinho got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rosa. 73 minutes into the match, Bonde do El EC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Brodel came free, but Vitório Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Wilian de Godoi got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The corner led Dominguinho's Aírton Diniz to fire away a dangerous shot which Vitório Braga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 97th minute, Ronaldinho Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bonde do El EC's Vitório Braga got control of the ball when Luizinho Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
