Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Clube Atletico Marrento's Lauro de Senna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Lauro de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clube Atletico Marrento's Olavo Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Quirino in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernani Quirino in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Novaes saved Clube Atletico Marrento from getting behind. If Leandro Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atletico Marrento's Lauro de Senna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitório Braga. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the match, Bonde do El EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro de Senna came free, but Vitório Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bonde do El EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wellington Guedes was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atletico Marrento's players had a chance to rest. Clube Atletico Marrento's Erasmo Branco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitório Braga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Ediberto Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilian de Godoi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Bonde do El EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonde do El EC's goalkeeper Vitório Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitório Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lauro de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Braga having to interfere. If Lauro de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani Quirino to make the kick off. Clube Atletico Marrento's Olavo Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atletico Marrento from getting a goal against them. If Hernani Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitório Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauan Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. During the 67th minute of the match Wilian de Godoi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wilian de Godoi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wilian de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Bonde do El EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Bertassi came free, but Vitório Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro de Senna in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Bonde do El EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Lauro de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitório Braga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauro de Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Marrento's Cauan Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitório Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Olavo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leandro Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Leandro Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
