A well done corner resulted in Ezequiel Meireles drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Jardineiro SS's goalkeeper. Hades United's Laércio Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Hades United from getting a goal against them. Bernardinho Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Hades United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Erasmo Soeiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yuri Perez. In the 56th match minute, Hades United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Perez to maneuver through the defense. Hades United's attentive José Carlos Messias managed to snatch the ball when Natanael de Barros made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Carlos Alberto Ceresso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Erasmo Soeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mario Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Erasmo Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Carlos Alberto Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando Monteiro during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fernando Monteiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hades United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
