Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Capua's Marcinho Ortiz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcinho Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Erivaldo Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capua. When Didi Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Capua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Paraense couldn't finish the play. Erivaldo Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho Ortiz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Vides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Erivaldo Vidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcinho Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Ortiz in the 16th minute of play forced Martinopole SS's goalkeeper Erivaldo Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Marcinho Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Maurinho Rossi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Capua's Kaká Capixaba. Kaká Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Guilherme da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Marcinho Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Erivaldo Vidal. Martinopole SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Erivaldo Vidal made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Marcinho Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. If Afonsinho Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Erivaldo Vidal managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Capua's Marcinho Ortiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute, Marcinho Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erivaldo Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Maurinho Rossi made the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Vidal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Capua's Marcinho Ortiz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Erivaldo Vidal came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Capua's Marcinho Ortiz. But to his dismay, Marcinho Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Marcinho Ortiz took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo Vidal. Erivaldo Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. If Afonsinho Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75thth minute of the game Marcinho Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martinopole SS's Erivaldo Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martinopole SS's Erivaldo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Vides in the 77th minute of play. Capua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diogo Paes in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Diogo Paes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erivaldo Vidal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erivaldo Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Ortiz in the 81st minute of the match. Erivaldo Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcinho Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Afonsinho Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erivaldo Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Afonsinho Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erivaldo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Capua players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
