After a rather tough play, Magarai's Valdir Garcia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Elói das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dedé Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão de Sousa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Dedé Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Candeial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedé Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elói das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedé Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes Magarai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Téo Paulista who took care of the corner kick.
