Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ademir Hoffmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nelsinho da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Ademir Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelsinho da Cunha. Buriti SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ademir Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilian Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilian Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Buriti SS's Wilian Recife got a free kick in the 35th minute. Iratinga's César Madureira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nelsinho da Cunha but with some difficulty. When Murillo Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buriti SS's protests and gave Murillo Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Iratinga booed when Buriti SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Recife in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício das Neves was the one to do the kick off. When Dito Machado fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iratinga's protests and gave Dito Machado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Iratinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Machado to maneuver through the defense. Faustão Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mauro Azevedo made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Fabrício das Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buriti SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Albertinho Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes Faustão Ceresso shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Mauro Azevedo when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Eusébio Vaz made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jarbas Vianna however managed to control. When Ademir Hoffmann, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nelsinho da Cunha was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nelsinho da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Hoffmann in the 65th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Ademir Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buriti SS's Nelsinho da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Emerson Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iratinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. César Madureira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mauro Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Murillo Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 83rd minute of the match, Fabrício das Neves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ademir Hoffmann took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho da Cunha. Nelsinho da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Wilian Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Mauro Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Fabrício das Neves sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Iratinga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buriti SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
