If Wellington Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Wellington Sá came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Paraplégicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 75thth minute of the game Sandrinho Maranhense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almfala's Murillo Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Sá in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Almfala's Armindo Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Tibúrcio Sá in the 91st minute really tested Luís Eduardo Terra's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paraplégicos FC's zone, Claudinei Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Terra came out of the goal and Claudinei Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraplégicos FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
