Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Augusto Secco kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Melao AD's zone, Zé Augusto Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiaguinho Vander came out of the goal and Zé Augusto Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Melao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Ortiz came free, but Tiaguinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melao AD's Tiaguinho Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Melao AD from getting a goal against them. When Duda Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Melao AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Hermes couldn't finish the play. Marquinhos Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Santelo's zone, Perivaldo de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Augusto Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiaguinho Vander made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zé Augusto Secco sent off a good shot on target. Zé Augusto Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tiaguinho Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Augusto Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melao AD's Tiaguinho Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Ortiz in the 30th minute of play. Zé Augusto Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Vander having to interfere. Zé Augusto Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Davi Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Santelo booed when Melao AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Santelo's Davi Ortiz tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tiaguinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Secco in the 79th minute of play. Duda Hermes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Zé Augusto Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Augusto Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Vander having to interfere. Davi Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Santelo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
