In the 12th minute Rafael Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Falkmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Falkmar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Valdomiro Simão got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gert Falkmar was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Osvaldo Faustino's late challenge caught a GRANDE MESTRE F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Faustino helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Araçatuba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Ian Vieira struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gerson Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GRANDE MESTRE F.C. Gert Falkmar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Simão in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Ian Vieira made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Araçatuba's Gerson Pontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gert Falkmar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gerson Pontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredinho de Almeida showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. Alfredinho de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Pontes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Amaral in the 47th minute of play forced GRANDE MESTRE F.C's goalkeeper Gert Falkmar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredinho de Almeida to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Vieira in the 52nd minute of play forced Atlético Araçatuba's goalkeeper Gerson Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerson Pontes came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by GRANDE MESTRE F.C's Ian Vieira. But to his dismay, Ian Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Armindo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gert Falkmar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Amaral in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Breckenfeld could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Gert Falkmar however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 70 minutes, Ian Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GRANDE MESTRE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Andrade was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, one of GRANDE MESTRE F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GRANDE MESTRE F.C. Gert Falkmar went to the wrong direction when Mauro Soares was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Ian Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerson Pontes. Atlético Araçatuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ian Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gert Falkmar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Ian Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gert Falkmar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Araújo in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GRANDE MESTRE F.C had played much better football throughout.
