In the 31st minute, Zé Roberto Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atlético Araçatuba getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valdomiro Simão hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Alfredinho de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ian Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Alfredinho de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GRANDE MESTRE F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético Araçatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho de Almeida came free, but Gerson Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ian Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafael Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gert Falkmar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfredinho de Almeida got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gerson Pontes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
