David Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Morcegos F.C booed when Moraes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betinho Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Otávio Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Morcegos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Mendes came free, but Nico Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nico Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Barbosa in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Erik Barbosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Nico Lopes however easily saved by the left post. Nico Lopes made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Erik Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 61 in the game by Erik Barbosa from a close distance when the talented Nico Lopes managed to make a qualified save. Morcegos F.C's players were relieved. Virgílio Cosme hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Morcegos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Cosme to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Dida Ramos fired a really elegant long shot, but Nico Lopes threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Morcegos F.C's zone, Erik Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Lopes came out of the goal and Erik Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Mendes in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Morcegos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Mattos to maneuver through the defense. When Sílvio Luís Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morcegos F.C's protests and gave Sílvio Luís Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Morcegos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Maranhense. Dida Ramos, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
