Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Fernando Sergipano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Tuive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Passos to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paulo Renato Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tuive's Paulo Renato Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Sergipano in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Tuive's Júlio Passos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percival Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Gancho SS's Marcus Tavares got a free kick in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Fernando Sergipano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Renato Valladares. That made the score 2-1 in the 20 minute of play. Noel Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Sanches having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match, Jerônimo Vale got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Renato Valladares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th minute Aloísio de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tuive's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Valladares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Aloísio de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Percival Sanches. Gancho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 42nd match minute, Tuive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Passos to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Sanches having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After 57 minutes Gancho SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Pedro Britto who took care of the corner kick. Róbson Montenegro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Percival Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Passos in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gancho SS's zone, Aloísio de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Sanches came out of the goal and Aloísio de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tuive booed when Gancho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Sanches having to interfere. If Aloísio de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Noel Passos came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Tuive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Passos couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fernando Sergipano took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Renato Valladares. Paulo Renato Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Cauan Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Paulo Renato Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Júlio Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fernando Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute of the match Aírton de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Renato Valladares skillfully saved the ball. Tuive's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gancho SS had won, even though Tuive had held more of the ball.
