When Raúl de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Joinville WPS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl de Barros couldn't finish the play. The Philipps FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Joinville WPS's performance. The match ended with a win for Joinville WPS.
