The Mandiquera SS fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Mandiquera SS's Beto Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samuca Cardozo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Schmidt having to interfere. Giuseppe Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Raí Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Queimadinhas's Gonçalo Barreto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 45 minutes in the game, Giuseppe Koehler fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raí Schmidt having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Aníbal Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandiquera SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queimadinhas the free kick. The supporters of Queimadinhas booed when Mandiquera SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Mandiquera SS's Beto Souza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hélder Guerra. Hélder Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Mandiquera SS's Aníbal Cearense got a free kick in the 59th minute. Raí Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Queimadinhas booed when Mandiquera SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Giuseppe Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Queimadinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe Koehler couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Giuseppe Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Giuseppe Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Queimadinhas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
