The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Campidelis during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, leonardo fc's Nilson Moreno got control of the ball when Sandro Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandro Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Lira during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marquinhos Lira hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nilson Moreno was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elivélton Amaral. 26 minutes into the match, leonardo fc's goalkeeper Nilson Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Chaves. Kajetan Kon took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Moreno. Nilson Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sylwester Kolbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nilson Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Sandro Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Nilson Moreno. leonardo fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Kajetan Kon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Rua do cocô's Batiste Boulais ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Moreno. Nilson Moreno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Chaves got free with Nilson Moreno in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Jybæk in the 48th minute of play forced leonardo fc's goalkeeper Nilson Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marquinhos Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rua do cocô getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sylwester Kolbe hit a great ball. If Batiste Boulais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Batiste Boulais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson Moreno was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Chaves in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nilson Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Jybæk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Kolbe in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Chaves in the 73rd minute of play forced leonardo fc's goalkeeper Nilson Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rua do cocô's Sylwester Kolbe got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Chaves in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Moreno saved leonardo fc from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Simon Jybæk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rua do cocô fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. If Simon Jybæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Marquinhos Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rua do cocô had played much better football throughout.
