Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maicon Barbosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Armandinho Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zé Pedro Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Mário Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Matías Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Souza in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Vides in the 14th minute of play forced Spartans's goalkeeper Matías Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Esteves came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras do Acre's Túlio Proença. But to his dismay, Túlio Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 23 played minutes, Palmeiras do Acre's Rogério Dantas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matías Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmeiras do Acre reached it. Matías Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Palmeiras do Acre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudinei Ceresso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matías Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Vides in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Claudinei Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartans's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Pedro Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Spartans's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Proença came free, but Matías Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Spartans players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmeiras do Acre were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Túlio Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breno Valadares during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Spartans getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Breno Valadares hit a great ball. Wanderson Sousa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Matías Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Souza in the 62nd minute of the match. Spartans's Matías Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Vides in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Spartans booed when Palmeiras do Acre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Guilherme Tande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Pedro Seco. Palmeiras do Acre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zé Pedro Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Tande in the 77th minute of the match. Armandinho Martins struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Zé Pedro Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartans. Maicon Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Seco having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Proença got free with Matías Esteves in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Geraldo Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spartans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras do Acre the free kick. 88 minutes into the match, Spartans's Luiz Guilherme Tande broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Palmeiras do Acre's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Hever came free, but Zé Pedro Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
