Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Agostinho Rocha made the kick off which started today's match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Chico Brasil sped through Narino's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Barbosa. Moisés de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Barbosa having to interfere. When Chico Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Candeiras AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Brasil couldn't finish the play. Agostinho Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Barbosa having to make a save. When Nestor Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Narino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Chico Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Mazinho Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narino. After a defensive mix-up in Candeiras AD's zone, Fred Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Vieira came out of the goal and Fred Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chico Brasil might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. Chico Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Barbosa having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fred Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mazinho Vieira made a huge save. If Chico Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Agostinho Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candeiras AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Soeiro scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mazinho Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moisés de Barros struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jorge Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candeiras AD. Jorge Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Rocha in the 66th minute of play. Narino's Giovanni da Cunha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mazinho Vieira but with some difficulty. If Nestor Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Tony Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Agostinho Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narino's Nestor Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Soeiros short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Mazinho Vieira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nestor Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho Vieira having to interfere. Mazinho Vieira made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Fred Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Candeiras AD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Narino to leave the ground with a draw.
