Romeu Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Sabóia having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Irape's goalkeeper Gláuber Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo de Sousa. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moisés Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Luciano Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Souza was the one to do the kick off. Moisés Alcântara hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Teodoro Souza came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Puiracu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Souza couldn't finish the play. Gláuber Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo de Sousa in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo de Sousa in the 65th minute of play forced Irape's goalkeeper Gláuber Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Puiracu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
