Tony Miranda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. In the 16th minute, 冯志誉 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Gilson Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Golden Boys Futebol Clube's Arí Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tony Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Tony Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Renatinho Barral. barçasao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 冯志誉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that 冯志誉's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renatinho Barral was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Dário Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eusébio Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Sidney Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, barçasao's Eusébio Freire got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the barçasao defense, Tony Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renatinho Barral. The barçasao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renatinho Barral should have stopped the shot. Dário Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eusébio Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Eusébio Alvarenga managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when barçasao's Dário Sena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eusébio Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tony Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renatinho Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Renatinho Barral came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Boys Futebol Clube's Arí Moreno. But to his dismay, Arí Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of Golden Boys Futebol Clube booed when barçasao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in barçasao's zone, Tony Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Barral came out of the goal and Tony Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Golden Boys Futebol Clube were the better team. Golden Boys Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
