Didi Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Purple Haze Football getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Duda Bittencourt hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Purple Haze Football's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Ramos came free, but Didi Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Purple Haze Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner Recife during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Vágner Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Leal in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes, Benjamin Leal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Purple Haze Football's Didi Alcântara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Danilo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Purple Haze Football defense, Geovânio Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Alcântara. The Purple Haze Football fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Alcântara should have stopped the shot. When Benjamin Leal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Vila Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Leal couldn't finish the play. Danilo Ramos scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didi Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cauan Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purple Haze Football's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Purple Haze Football's Cauan Vaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tião Abreu. Tião Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After 46 played minutes Purple Haze Football got a freekick which was hit by Guga Mandrak.

The wind increased when Benjamin Leal made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Vila Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Coelho came free, but Tião Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 56 minutes on the clock, Erberk Yanıker commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Vila Paulista:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vila Paulista's Tião Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Coelho in the 61st minute of play. Enéas Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Didi Alcântara made a huge save. Benjamin Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Didi Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Alcântara came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Paulista's Enéas Moreno. But to his dismay, Enéas Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Enéas Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Didi Alcântara made a huge save. A collision led to Vila Paulista getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Enéas Moreno hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Coelho in the 86th minute of play forced Vila Paulista's goalkeeper Tião Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Fausto Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tião Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Paulista's Benjamin Leal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Didi Alcântara. That made the score 3-5 after 94 minutes of play. Purple Haze Football's Didi Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Purple Haze Football from getting a goal against them. The Purple Haze Football fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vila Paulista were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
