Garganta AD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Diguinho Gaúcho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alberto Rezende to make any attempt to save it. Basílio Luz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egídio Chaves in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinei Porto saved Garganta AD from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Téo Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LegionáriosFC's Alberto Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save LegionáriosFC from getting a goal against them. If Egídio Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Alberto Rezende successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serginho Gomes got free with Alberto Rezende in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Gaúcho in the 38th minute of play forced LegionáriosFC's goalkeeper Alberto Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Basílio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. LegionáriosFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Egídio Chaves took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Dinei Porto to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Garganta AD's Dinei Porto got control of the ball when Erik França tried to sneak it across the goal line. LegionáriosFC's Alberto Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Nóbrega in the 81st minute of play. Alberto Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Gomes went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Alberto Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 87 played minutes LegionáriosFC got a freekick which was hit by Téo Marques. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Téo Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot.
