Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Üllar Kulu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dênis Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Fulvio Di Biagio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Riolandia EC's Amílton Mazza got a free kick in the 8th minute. Nilmar Vianna was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Riolandia EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Nilmar Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riolandia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilmar Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Lenílson de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Di Biagio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Riolandia EC got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Bezerra. In the 25th minute Nilmar Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson de Mendonça in the 26th minute of play forced Riolandia EC's goalkeeper Fulvio Di Biagio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Di Biagio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson de Mendonça in the 31st minute of play forced Riolandia EC's goalkeeper Fulvio Di Biagio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Peruipe SC's Marcelinho Motta got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Adrianinho Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Vianna in the 34th minute of play. If Nilmar Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Üllar Kulu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrianinho Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Riolandia EC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Mazza. Lenílson de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Di Biagio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenílson de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Üllar Kulu in the 54th minute of play forced Peruipe SC's goalkeeper Adrianinho Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Üllar Kulu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peruipe SC's Adrianinho Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrianinho Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Üllar Kulu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrianinho Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Üllar Kulu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Riolandia EC's Nilmar Vianna in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peruipe SC's goalie prevented a goal. Peruipe SC's Adrianinho Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Vianna in the 70th minute of play. If Üllar Kulu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Üllar Kulu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Riolandia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Üllar Kulu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Mandrak in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Porto saved Peruipe SC from getting behind. Adrianinho Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Üllar Kulu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Riolandia EC's Nilmar Vianna made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianinho Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrianinho Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Üllar Kulu in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Nilmar Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Porto. Peruipe SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilmar Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 96th minute, Vítor Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
