Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldinho Catarinense started the match with the kick off. Ronaldinho Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Eduardo Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Tarame's goalkeeper Fábio Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio Costa. After 22 played minutes Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Gerber. When Tarame's Afonsinho Eger in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Umarizal's goalie prevented a goal. Caio Costa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fábio Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umarizal. Caio Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Fábio Alvarenga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Caio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fábio Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Diogo Varela fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarame's protests and gave Diogo Varela a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Umarizal booed when Tarame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Umarizal's Ronaldinho Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Alvarenga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adilson Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Alvarenga having to interfere. In the 46th minute Zé Roberto Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The wind increased when Afonsinho Eger made the kick off in the second half. Caio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Alvarenga having to interfere. Tarame's Fábio Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Catarinense in the 63rd minute of play. Matías Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Saraiva in the 65th minute of play. Zé Roberto Alves hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Caio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fábio Alvarenga. Tarame's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Afonsinho Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Rocha having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Adilson Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarame and the Umarizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tarame getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Adilson Trigo hit a great ball. Fábio Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Catarinense in the 87th minute of the match. Umarizal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tarame for a fine match.
