The Biribiri fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Biribiri's Nelsinho Rodrigues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wágner Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Wágner Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Monteiro in the 40th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Sidnei Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floreal's Wágner Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Monteiro in the 94th minute of play. Wágner Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Monteiro in the 97th minute of play. Biribiri's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
