Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nardo Gambo to make the kick off. After 67 minutes, Nardo Gambo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Firminopolis's Luís Fabiano Lira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Firminopolis defense, Nardo Gambo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fabiano Lira. The Firminopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fabiano Lira should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Firminopolis's zone, Nardo Gambo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fabiano Lira came out of the goal and Nardo Gambo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bode's Samuca Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Nardo Gambo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Firminopolis's Luís Fabiano Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Nardo Gambo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nardo Gambo in the 95th minute of play forced Firminopolis's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Filipe Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Bode were the better team. Bode's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
