Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) NICOLAS FC's José Quaresma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Olinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Martins to maneuver through the defense. If José Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Olinto's zone, Léo do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Costa came out of the goal and Léo do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Gláuber Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Léo do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jefferson Motta made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Gláuber Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Motta. NICOLAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gláuber Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jefferson Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Olinto's Zézinho Martins made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcos Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NICOLAS FC. Dé Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marcos Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcos Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NICOLAS FC. José Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Costa having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Dé Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Costa having to interfere. José Quaresma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo do Valle in the 70th minute of play forced Olinto's goalkeeper Marcos Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NICOLAS FC made a substitution. Washington Tande replaced Léo do Valle. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Quaresma in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Costa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by NICOLAS FC's Washington Tande. But to his dismay, Washington Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jefferson Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, José Quaresma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NICOLAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Olinto's zone, José Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Costa came out of the goal and José Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
