Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cambalacho F.C's Hermínio Koehler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustavo Vieiras short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Dorival Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Itaparica getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Conrado Bittencourt hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Faustão Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Cardozo in the 11th minute of play. Giovanni Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Faustão Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambalacho F.C and the Itaparica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Genílson Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dorival Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Cambalacho F.C's Hermínio Koehler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustão Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Itaparica getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Conrado Bittencourt hit a great ball. Faustão Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cambalacho F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Vieira to make the kick off. If Luiz Eduardo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Faustão Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambalacho F.C. If Hermínio Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faustão Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Koehler in the 62nd minute of the match. Giovanni Cardozo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustão Brasil came out and tried to block the shot, but Giovanni Cardozo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Giovanni Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dorival Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermínio Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Pinheiro in the 94th minute of play forced Cambalacho F.C's goalkeeper Dorival Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cambalacho F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
