The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Paulo Vasconcelos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Salles in the 68th minute of play forced Jabaquara EC's goalkeeper Vitório de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
