C.R. Carie Profunda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armandinho Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armandinho Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Meriç Çırağ made a huge save. Diogo Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Santana having to make a save. Carie Profunda were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
