An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Gerber in the 5th minute of play forced S.E. TRIUNFO's goalkeeper Hernani Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Souto during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Souto hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, S.E. TRIUNFO's Gilvan Leão got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Júlio Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Fontes. Mulato FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hernani Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Damião in the 20th minute of the match. Erasmo Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mulato FC's Felippe Gerber in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. TRIUNFO's goalie prevented a goal. Armandinho Barreto took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Fontes. When Erasmo Viana came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Mulato FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Viana couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Viana was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Erasmo Viana made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. S.E. TRIUNFO's Hernani Santana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernani Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Viana's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes of play, Mulato FC's Erasmo Viana made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of S.E. TRIUNFO booed when Mulato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.E. TRIUNFO's Hernani Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Viana in the 64th minute of play. Hernani Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Rodrigo Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mulato FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
