Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vivaldo Lara got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Murilo Pires made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rio Branco Sport Club's Fabinho Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 6 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Lara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guairas's Geovani Mendes. Geovani Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the game, Rio Branco Sport Club's Júnior de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 15th minute, Murilo Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Geovani Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Murilo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guairas's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovani Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Bastos in the 24th minute of play. Fabinho Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Oscar Passos sent off a good shot on target. In the 27thth minute of the game Murilo Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Branco Sport Club's Fabinho Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Guairas's Murilo Pires slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabinho Magalhães. That made the score 3-2 after 31 minutes of play. Oscar Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Guairas's Oscar Passos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabinho Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabinho Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Isaltino Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Passos in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabinho Magalhães saved Rio Branco Sport Club from getting behind. Fabinho Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Luiz Fernando Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guairas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Isaltino Bastos could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Geovani Mendes however easily saved by the left post. Murilo Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fernando Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes Guairas got a freekick which was hit by Charles do Nascimento. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Isaltino Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Branco Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovani Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fernando Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes, Rio Branco Sport Club's Olavo Furlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovani Mendes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Branco Sport Club reached it. 80 minutes into the match, Zacarias Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabinho Magalhães. Rio Branco Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Isaltino Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Geovani Mendes made a huge save. Geovani Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Lara in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Murilo Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Fabinho Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guairas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rio Branco Sport Club for a fine match.
