The Manfredo Hoffmann was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the S.E. Cappello defense, Vivaldo Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manfredo Hoffmann. The S.E. Cappello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manfredo Hoffmann should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Reginaldo Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
