Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nuno Vander kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Roncado AD getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gerson Camargo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Clube do Remo's Rodolfo Damião got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ivo da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Terra in the 7th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Roncado AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Wilson Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube do Remo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivo da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilson Nogueira went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Anísio Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Flávio de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Roncado AD got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Carvalho. Arnaldo Valle hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ivo da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Filipe Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Flávio de Senna made a huge save. Ivo da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Luan Luz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Clube do Remo's Válter Koehler quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 54 minutes into the match, Nuno Vander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivo da Costa, 0-3. Clube do Remo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roncado AD the free kick. Ivo da Costa was a little too slow when Nuno Vander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-5. Ivo da Costa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo's Wilson Nogueira. But to his dismay, Wilson Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 79 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Oliveira came free, but Flávio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo da Costa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo's Wilson Nogueira. But to his dismay, Wilson Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Roncado AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Nuno Vander scored to the left of an out of position Ivo da Costa, making the score, 0-8. Flávio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Clube do Remo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Roncado AD throughout the match.
