Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benjamin da Costa got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Rui de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Abraão scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Jonathan Trancoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valente EC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Coleta got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Trancoso. Coleta's Dráuzio Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denílson Medeiros hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Aníbal Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Isaltino Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Abraão in the 18th minute of play. Benjamin da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Valente EC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Costa came free, but Juvenal Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Benjamin da Costa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Juvenal Antunes to make any attempt to save it. After 40 played minutes Benjamin da Costa rounded Valente EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Benjamin da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Juvenal Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin da Costa had several of the Valente EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Juvenal Antunes as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Abraão made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Costa in the 56th minute of play forced Valente EC's goalkeeper Juvenal Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Coleta booed when Valente EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin da Costa's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Rui de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Guimarães's late challenge caught a Coleta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murilo Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. Murilo Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Benjamin da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coleta's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Juvenal Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Ian Queirós sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valente EC's Juvenal Antunes didn't even have to move. Benjamin da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juvenal Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Ramón Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Coleta got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Trancoso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Cerezo got free with Isaltino Rezende in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráuzio Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Antunes having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Rui de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Juvenal Antunes. Valente EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Isaltino Rezende made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Enéas Faria sent off a good shot on target. Coleta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
