The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Benjamin da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rui de Lara hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Coleta's Isaltino Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Costa in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Coleta's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei de Amorim came free, but Isaltino Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaltino Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Queirós in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Coleta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rui de Lara hit a great ball. Apenas Ruins's Adrianinho Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Costa in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Apenas Ruins's Flavinho Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Flavinho Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Coleta's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei de Amorim came free, but Isaltino Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Apenas Ruins fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Apenas Ruins's Marcus Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Isaltino Rezende came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Apenas Ruins's Flavinho Queirós. But to his dismay, Flavinho Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavinho Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Isaltino Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sena in the 52nd minute of play. Marcus Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Isaltino Rezende made a huge save. Flavinho Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavinho Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Apenas Ruins's Flavinho Queirós got a free kick in the 65th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apenas Ruins the free kick. Dráuzio Brodel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Isaltino Rezende was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Cristian Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 81 minutes into the match, Flavinho Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isaltino Rezende, 1-5. In the 86thth minute of the game Benjamin da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apenas Ruins's Adrianinho Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Jonathan Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apenas Ruins's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
