Brascol's Jânio Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Cosme in the 16th minute of play. Olívio Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo de Barros having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Brascol's goalkeeper Jânio Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovanni Cosme. 26 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrazedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brascol the free kick. After 26 played minutes Carrazedo got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Ramos.
