Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Faria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Dieguinho Goiano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Luiz Guilherme Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coritiba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Faria scored to the left of an out of position Dieguinho Goiano, making the score, 2-0. In the 35thth minute of the game Luiz Guilherme Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coritiba FC's Dieguinho Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Guilherme Faria made a kick off.
