Hamílton Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Leme in the 6th minute of the match. Ivo Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Carvalho having to interfere. If Nelson de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Balneário Camboriú FC's José Vítor Soares got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nelson de Queiroz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gabriel Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Nelson de Queiroz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hamílton Carvalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gabriel Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Baiano in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Salgueirinho SS booed when Balneário Camboriú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. 52 minutes into the match, Salgueirinho SS's Nelson de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamílton Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Balneário Camboriú FC's zone, Nelson de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Carvalho came out of the goal and Nelson de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gláuber da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Carvalho having to interfere. Balneário Camboriú FC's Hamílton Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Leme in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute Ivo Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salgueirinho SS's Didi Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 minutes, Ivo Leme made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Balneário Camboriú FC's Hamílton Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Balneário Camboriú FC's Dráuzio Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ivo Leme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamílton Carvalho having to make a save. After 89 minutes of play, Balneário Camboriú FC's Cássio Araújo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Salgueirinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Baiano came free, but Gabriel Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Balneário Camboriú FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
