Alberto Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Berger in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, one of Maltide:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maltide. The goalkeeper, Alberto Arce, was totally fooled by Totora's Murilo Berger, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cláudio Dracena could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Alberto Arce however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Cláudio Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Maltide's Gilson Donato to fire away a dangerous shot which Valeriy Buglay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gilson Capixaba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valeriy Buglay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Gilson Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Buglay having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Murilo Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Cleiton Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Murilo Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Arce. Maltide's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Alberto Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Dracena in the 41st minute. Cláudio Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alberto Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Maltide got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Trigo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 57th minute, Alessandro Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Totora's Cláudio Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilson Capixaba took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeriy Buglay. Valeriy Buglay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Bebeto Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cláudio Dracena succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. If Murilo Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Totora's Murilo Berger in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maltide's goalie prevented a goal.
