Lombardia EC's Aleandro Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Meirelles in the 32nd minute of play. Washington Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Eugen Agusoaei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Giuseppe Baiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Fernando de Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 55 minute of play. With a little luck, Portuguesa Vila Sul's Giuseppe Baiano got control of the ball when Washington Jacinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 minutes, Simão de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lombardia EC and the Portuguesa Vila Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Portuguesa Vila Sul's Aquilino Dabi was substituted for Moisés Meirelles. Gabriel Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Baiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
