With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmir Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Quirino in the 41st minute of the match. The AE Unidos da Vila players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peabiru were winning 0-2.
