In the 14th minute Hermínio Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Almeida in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermínio Bastos to make the kick off. Jovens em ação's Nestor Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Bastos in the 56th minute of play. Benjamin Godoi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Benjamin Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Godoi in the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Hermínio Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPARTA F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored SPARTA F C's protests and gave Téo Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Téo Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Jovens em ação's Basílio Teixeira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giuseppe de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute of the match, Régis Félix tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giuseppe de Senna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Régis Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Giuseppe de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
