In the 17th minute, Alfredão Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Capeller-FC's Abel Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Trigo in the 23rd minute of play. Capeller-FC's Gong Di Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Siqueira in the 26th minute of play. If Benedito da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Petunia booed when Capeller-FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito da Cunha to make the kick off. Dorian Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Petunia's Dorian Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Duarte in the 54th minute of play. Alfredão Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gong Di Yuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Benedito da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gong Di Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Abel Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dorian Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 83 minutes of play, Capeller-FC's Willian Garcia made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorian Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedê Trigo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Silva saved Petunia from getting behind. Dorian Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Abel Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capeller-FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alexandre Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Alexandre Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Abel Duarte notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Petunia's Dorian Silva. Dorian Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Petunia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capeller-FC.
