The referee showed Wanderson Munhoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Muribeca AD got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Munhoz. In the 13th match minute, Muribeca AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Téo Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Dito Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wanderson Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique de Brito in the 34th minute of play forced Deu Zica Jr's goalkeeper Téo Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Wanderson Munhoz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deu Zica Jr's Téo Arruda. Téo Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

58 minutes into the game, Deu Zica Jr's Marco Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marco Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Caio Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Muribeca AD's Tiaguinho Pombal got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Arnaldo Antunes, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 68th match minute, Deu Zica Jr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nickolai Graff to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Fernando Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deu Zica Jr's Téo Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique de Brito in the 71st minute of play. Téo Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique de Brito in the 78th minute of play. Caio Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Moreira in the 80th minute of the match. When Ciro Maia fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muribeca AD's protests and gave Ciro Maia a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique de Brito in the 95th minute of play forced Deu Zica Jr's goalkeeper Téo Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Muribeca AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Muribeca AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
