Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lino Paulista kicked off to start the match. After 4th play minutes Lino Paulista shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Rubinho Cerezo and just under the crossbar into goal. Maicon de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Fantini in the 9th minute of play. In the last second Maicon de Barros throw himself and got hold of the ball when Júlio Fantini in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Maicon de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Fantini in the 17th minute of the match. Maicon de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Fantini's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Júlio Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, FC Fogo Central's Alberto de Godoy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Rubinho Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Gernando de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Maicon de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Potter FC's Nilton Senna got a free kick in the 39th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Júlio Fantini made the kick off in the second half. Lino Paulista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubinho Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Maicon de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, FC Fogo Central's Júlio Fantini made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maicon de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basílio Lara struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Maicon de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fogo Central. After a rather tough play, Potter FC's Nilton Senna got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Júlio Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fogo Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Júlio Fantini notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Potter FC's Maicon de Barros. Maicon de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geovanni de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovanni de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Potter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni de Brito to maneuver through the defense. If Chico Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Fantini in the 95th minute of the match. FC Fogo Central's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
