Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cléberson Pena started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Severino Pontes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Egon's Nico Pimenta. Nico Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 8 minutes of play, Cesario's Severino Pontes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes in the game, Ricardinho de Senna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juvenal Lima having to interfere. Hugon Dzierwa had several of the Cesario's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Juvenal Lima as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alberto Lira hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Juvenal Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Dzierwa in the 19th minute of the match. Ricardinho de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Nico Pimenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléberson Pena's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Nico Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hugon Dzierwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hugon Dzierwa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Lima was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the game, Sebastião Ramalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egon the free kick. Sebastião Ramalho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Nico Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Juvenal Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Dzierwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal Lima had great luck who in the 48thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hugon Dzierwa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugon Dzierwa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Dzierwa in the 55th minute of play forced Cesario's goalkeeper Juvenal Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Cesario's Nico Pimenta threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cléberson Pena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 59 minutes into the match, Egon's goalkeeper Nico Pimenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Pontes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Dzierwa in the 60th minute of play forced Cesario's goalkeeper Juvenal Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Hoffman in the 63rd minute of the match. Juvenal Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Proença in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Hoffman in the 66th minute of play forced Cesario's goalkeeper Juvenal Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cesario's goalkeeper Juvenal Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 69th minute of the match Sebastião Ramalho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastião Ramalho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 69th match minute, Cesario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Márcio Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Cléberson Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The supporters of Cesario booed when Egon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Egon players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
